Yes. The extension is free to install, and search-bar keyword metrics are free on every RankHero plan, including Free. Viewing listing data RankHero already has is free too. Fetching or refreshing listing data uses a daily allowance that depends on your plan.
Do I need a RankHero account?
Yes. The extension needs a verified RankHero account. After installing, click the RankHero icon in Chrome and sign in or create a free account. It takes about a minute.
What do search volume and competition show?
Search volume shows how often a keyword is searched each month. Competition is the number of competing Etsy listings available to RankHero. Data availability varies by keyword.
How accurate are the sales and revenue numbers?
They are lifetime estimates, not Etsy-reported transactions or guaranteed results. Use them to compare the potential behind products and validate ideas, not as exact figures.
What counts as a daily listing use?
Each request that fetches or refreshes listing data from Etsy counts as one use, including requests where an estimate cannot be generated. Uses reset daily at midnight Central Time and are separate from the website Listing Analyzer allowance.
Can I turn the extension off on some pages?
Yes. The extension popup has separate switches for keyword metrics and listing metrics, plus one switch that pauses all RankHero features.
