The RankHero API runs RankHero's Etsy, eBay and web SEO tools from your own code. Use it in a script, a dashboard or a product of your own. New tools join the API as they pass review.

What the API does

RankHero's tools, called from code. Each one answers the same way the website does.

Shop and listing reports

Send an Etsy shop or one listing and get its grade, its numbers and what to fix.

Etsy tags

Send a product and get Etsy tags back, with how many buyers search for each one.

Rank checks

See where a shop or one listing sits in Etsy search for up to 5 keywords.

Web keywords

Find the keywords people search for on the web, with monthly searches and competition, to name a page, a post or a product.

eBay product research

See how many eBay listings compete for a product, what they are listed at and how many people search the web for it.

How it works

    Create a key

    Open the console and click Create key. An API key is a password for your code. Copy it once and keep it private.

  2. 2

    Send a request

    Call https://www.rankhero.com/v1 with the key in a header. You send JSON and get JSON back. The example below is a complete request.

    Pay with API credits

    Every tool call costs API credits. Your first key comes with a few to try with. When you need more, buy a pack in the console.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. Any RankHero plan can use the API, including Free. Calls are paid with API credits, not with your plan.

What does it cost?

Each tool call costs 1 to 5 API credits, depending on the tool. A shop analysis of more than 100 listings costs 1 more for each extra 100. Checking your account and balance is free. Your first key comes with a few credits to try with. After that you buy credit packs in the console, where every price is listed.

Is there a limit?

Each key can send 60 requests a minute. Each account can make 1,500 calls a day across all its keys. Checking your account does not count, and we can raise the limit when you need more. If you go past a limit, the API answers with a wait time and nothing is charged. A call that runs longer than 25 seconds stops and the credits come back.

Can I use it in Claude or ChatGPT?
