ChatGPT + RankHero
Use RankHero in ChatGPT
Connect RankHero once and ask ChatGPT how your Etsy shop or a listing is doing, where you rank, or for tags, in plain words. ChatGPT runs the RankHero tool for you and reads you the answer.
Free with any RankHero account. At chatgpt.com in a web browser.

Custom MCP servers are on ChatGPT on the web, not in the phone apps, and not on every ChatGPT plan. On a work account, your workspace owner may need to allow it.
Then try typing: Suggest tags for my ceramic mug listing. After you sign in, ChatGPT shows under Connected apps, where you can disconnect it any time.
Things to ask ChatGPT
Type what you want the way you would say it. ChatGPT picks the right RankHero tool.
- “How is my Etsy shop doing?”
- “Look at this listing and tell me what to fix.”
- “Suggest tags for my ceramic mug listing.”
- “What tags does the shop CozyPrintCo use most?”
- “How many sales has my shop made, and what is the average price?”
- “Where does my shop rank on Etsy for wooden toy?”
Common questions
Something else? Get in touch
Does it cost extra?
No. Each tool uses the daily limits of your plan, the same as when you use it on the website. It never spends API credits.
Is my account safe?
Yes. You sign in on RankHero's own page, so ChatGPT never sees your password. You approve the connection once and can remove it any time under Connected apps.
Can ChatGPT change my shop?
No. RankHero's tools look things up and write suggestions. They never change anything on Etsy or eBay.
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. If you can paste an address and sign in, you can connect it. The steps above show the exact clicks.
Do I need Developer mode?
Not on most accounts any more. If Add custom MCP server is not in the + menu on Plugins, turn on Developer mode under Settings, then Security and login, and look again.
