Sign in once, from a fresh terminal rather than inside a running chat.

A browser window opens on RankHero. Sign in and click Allow. Back in the terminal,
hermes mcp test rankherosays it is connected, and/reload-mcpin a chat that is already running picks it up.
Prefer an API key, for a server with no browser? Use --auth header instead of --auth oauth and paste a key from Keys in the console when Hermes asks for it. A key uses your plan's daily limits too, never API credits.
Then try typing: Analyze the Etsy shop MugsByMaya. After you sign in, Hermes shows under Connected apps, where you can disconnect it any time.

Does it cost extra?
No. Each tool uses the daily limits of your plan, the same as when you use it on the website. It never spends API credits.
Is my account safe?
Yes. You sign in on RankHero's own page, so Hermes never sees your password. You approve the connection once and can remove it any time under Connected apps.
Can Hermes change my shop?
No. RankHero's tools look things up and write suggestions. They never change anything on Etsy or eBay.
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. If you can paste an address and sign in, you can connect it. The steps above show the exact clicks.
Does it work from Telegram or Discord?
Yes. Once RankHero is in the Hermes config, every place Hermes answers can use it. Sign in once from a terminal, since a messaging gateway cannot open a browser.
