A dot uses the plugins of your ChatGPT account, so add RankHero there. In ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins, click the + button and choose Add custom MCP server.

In Name, type RankHero and paste this address in the Server URL box. Under Authentication, choose OAuth. Accept the warning and click Create.

A RankHero page opens. Sign in and click Allow. Your dot can now use RankHero, in a chat and in the routines it runs for you.
Dots come with the ChatGPT plans that include them. A dot and ChatGPT share one set of plugins, so RankHero added once works in both.
Then try typing: How is my Etsy shop doing? After you sign in, Dots shows under Connected apps, where you can disconnect it any time.

Can Dots change my shop?
No. RankHero's tools look things up and write suggestions. They never change anything on Etsy or eBay.
Do I need to know anything technical?
