Overview
Find your place in AI responses.
What it does
AI Visibility Checker measures how often AI responses mention your brand or cite your website. Start with a topic or your own prompts, then explore the brands, sources, and responses in one report.
Why it matters
Understand where your brand appears in the conversations that matter to your customers. See which topics bring you into the response, where other brands appear, and which pages are cited as sources.
Features
Explore the responses behind your visibility.
Prompts from your topic
Turn a topic into concise, natural search prompts, with your website as supporting context. Generation flows straight into the visibility check.
Your own prompts
Write or paste up to 5 prompts to test specific customer needs, comparisons, and purchase decisions. Edit generated prompts here too, or restore your earlier draft.
Brand mention rates
Measure the share of completed responses that name your brand. Inspect each response to see how and where the name appears.
Website citation rates
See how often your website is cited as a source. Open the cited pages to understand which content appears in the responses.
Visibility leaders
Compare cited websites, or switch to companies and service brands mentioned in the responses. Select a chart row to inspect a matching response.
Response previews and citations
Preview each response, then select Show full response to keep reading. Cited sources appear below.
Multiple responses per prompt
Sample up to two responses per prompt on Business or three on Enterprise to explore variation. Every plan defaults to one response.
Results as they arrive
Follow live progress and explore completed responses while the check continues. If you stop early, the responses already received remain available.
CSV and JSON exports
Export results as CSV or JSON for your own analysis or to share with your team. Keep the responses, citations, and measurements together.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Which AI responses does this check?
The checker samples OpenAI responses with web search for your chosen prompts. It measures those responses, not Google AI Overviews or search engine rankings. Results can differ from what you see in the ChatGPT app.
How does a topic become a set of prompts?
Your topic guides the prompts. Website research adds context without narrowing them to your business. The tool creates concise searches covering different needs within your topic, leaving out your brand name and website. These are suggested searches, not search-volume data. Prompts are saved under My prompts and run automatically while you watch live results. Select Edit prompts to make changes or Restore my prompts to bring back an earlier draft.
Should I include my brand in my own prompts?
Leave your brand out when measuring whether it appears without being requested. A prompt that names your brand can steer the response toward it. Your brand and website are tracked separately and are not added to the prompts used for the check.
What is the difference between a mention and a citation?
A mention names your brand in the response text. A citation links to your website as a source, including its subdomains. A response can mention your brand without citing your site, or cite your site without naming your brand.
How are the percentages calculated?
If your brand appears in 4 of 10 completed responses, its mention rate is 40%. Repeated mentions within one response count once toward that rate. Failed responses are excluded. Several brands can appear in the same response, so chart percentages do not need to total 100%. The Brands chart uses responses with completed brand analysis, so its denominator may differ from the main metrics.
How many prompts can I check at once?
Your plan allows up to 5 prompts per check, generated or written yourself. Your plan includes one response per prompt, for up to 5 responses per check. Prompt limits are 5 for Free, 10 for Side Hustle, 15 for Business, and 25 for Enterprise.
Why can results change between checks?
Responses and cited sources can vary between runs. Repeat prompts to explore that variation, and use the same prompts when comparing exports. A zero means no matching brand mentions or website citations were detected in the sampled responses; it does not describe every possible AI response.
Can I use the checker for free?
Yes. Free includes 3 prompt generations and 3 visibility checks per day, with or without an account. These are separate allowances: a topic run uses one of each, while a manual run uses one check. Paid plans offer higher daily limits.
Are my reports saved?
Results stay on the current page and are not saved as report history. Download CSV or JSON before leaving to keep your findings. If a check stops early, you can still export the responses already received.
