It checks the top 100
Rank Check looks at the first 100 active listings for a keyword. If your listing isn't in that set, it won't appear, so try a more specific, long-tail phrase.

It's Etsy's API order, not your screen
The order comes from Etsy's official API. Etsy's search page also mixes in ads and personalizes results for each shopper, so your position there can differ.

Because every check uses the same source, the numbers are great for comparing keywords and tracking changes over time, rather than as an exact position.

Shop location narrows the field
Picking a country limits the results to shops based there, which is useful for comparing yourself with local competitors.
How do I check my Etsy listing's rank?
Enter the keyword a buyer would search for and your shop name, then press Search. You'll see which of your listings appear in the top 100 results for that keyword and their position, plus the full top 100 below.
Why is my rank different from what I see on Etsy?
Etsy's search page personalizes results for each shopper and mixes in Etsy Ads. Rank Check uses the order from Etsy's official API instead, which isn't personalized to you. Use it to compare keywords and track changes over time rather than to predict an exact spot on someone's screen.
Why can't I find my listing?
Only the top 100 results are checked. Try a more specific, long-tail keyword, make sure the listing is active, and double-check the shop name. You can also paste your shop URL and we'll pull the name out.
What does the shop location option do?
It limits the results to shops based in the country you pick. It doesn't change which buyers see the results; it's a way to compare yourself with sellers from the same country.
Can I check a competitor's rank?
Yes. Enter any shop name to see where their listings land for a keyword, then open their listings in the Listing Analyzer to see what they're doing well.
How soon after editing a listing should I check again?
Give Etsy some time to process the change before checking again, then compare the new position with your earlier one. Checking the same keyword each time keeps the comparison fair.
Is Rank Check free?
